Good morning everyone! Today is International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia! Make sure you stop by the IDAHOT website to see more about it. Welcome to my stop on the Hop Against Homophobia and Transphobia 2014! This hop is an annual one and one that I will be taking part in from now on. If you missed out on joining in this year please take a moment to follow the main hop page HERE so you can join us next year!
Here in the United States we are still fighting the war against Homophobia and Transphobia everyday. Each individual state has its own laws regarding same sex marriage and I am so glad that my home state, Maryland, passed it this year! I hope that one day it will not be a matter of where it is legal or illegal, just a choice on where you want your wedding to be. I can not speak from experience only second hand knowledge but even to me it hurts that some people are so closed minded they would begrudge someone happiness just because of whom they choose to love. Some of my very best friends are not straight or comfortable in the gender they were born so for them and everyone else out there struggling everyday, I support you 100%!!

That is quite a good selection of 15 favorite books! (Mine would definitely include some Kindle Alexander too, along with TJ Klune! Love him!) I have enjoyed over half of them myself and heard great things about the rest from friends on goodreads!
ReplyDeleteIf I was to win, I would really like to get started on Heidi Cullinan's series with Special Delivery! Thanks for the chance to win! I can't wait to follow this blog hop!
