This was definitely a different shifter story. I loved Wade and Noah, they were so good for each other in many ways. The sexy was hot and spicy the only thing they lacked was communication. Oh and much to my surprise this had an MPreg theme! Yes I was totally on board once I realized that!
Wade is the alpha of the pack and Noah hasn't been a pack member since he was injured as a very young child. Their views are different and it takes them working together and a lot of understanding on both their parts for them to overcome.
I loved this story and the writing was fantastic. I will definitely be looking for more books by Kari Gregg very soon!

I had so many emotions pulled from me while reading this book, I am not even sure where to begin. The story starts with Stephen and Myron. Stephen easily falls in love and has been through the wringer so he doesn't want to jump into yet another relationship without taking a good long time analyzing all the angles. Once they take the jump there is no looking back, they get married and have years together, but then Myron takes ill and dies. Stephen spends the next few years merely surviving, then he meets Carson. Carson makes Stephen want to live again and there is definitely some smexy chemistry.

I really loved Stephen and Myron and then Carson and Stephen. Carson took a bit for me to warm up to, but I eventually did and I loved him too. Carson and Stephen both had a few issues, but in the end they were able to finally get passed them and open up. One thing I didn't like was the attack on Stephen. I wondered how he was able to get over it so quickly, but I guess some people just deal with things differently and maybe he just brushed it off.

Overall I definitely enjoyed this book and would love to read more from Blak Rayne in the future.

I really enjoyed this story, there is just something about lovers lost then reunited that has the potential to get me every time. Even though this story is short, only around 30 pages, it keeps your interest and is definitely a steamy one. I loved Sky's reaction when he sees Leo that was definitely a laugh out loud while gasping moment. Once these guys figure out where they are going with themselves it is smooth sailing. I loved every minute of the story, yes I knew what was going to happen, but the predictability was exactly what I wanted! I would definitely recommend this to M/M fans that are looking for a short book that is sure to make you smile.

Let me start by saying that I had no idea that these were characters that I had read about before! Yes I was bursting with excitement when I figured out they were familiar characters. Paul and Vince are also in The Art of Breathing (Bear, Otter and the Kid #3)  by T.J Klune 

This is certainly not an audiobook that you want to be listening to with anyone else around you. Not just because of the content but because I guarantee you will be laughing out loud and heaven help you if you should be drinking while something funny happens!  Yes I am speaking from experience here , drinking coffee while listening to this book was so not a good idea. 

T.J Klune is an author that does not disappoint his readers. It was no surprise to me that I loved Paul an Vince's story. They are definitely opposites and they surely attracted. Vince and Paul both made some mistakes along the way but their story is oh so enjoyable, it is not one you will want to miss. 

Michael Lesley is the narrator of this fantastic audiobook, and let me tell you he did an excellent job. I have listened to books that were totally awful for me, not because of the story line, but because of the narration. If a narrator just doesn't connect with the story it will throw the whole thing off. That being said Michael Lesley nailed this one! The inflection was amazing and he uses different tones for each character so there is no doubt who is speaking. I certainly hope he does many many more in the future as I would just snatch them up!

This was a fantastic start to the series! I loved Denton and Bran! Denton can see ghosts and there is definitely something to his new neighbor. Bran is distant and standoffish, but he is also smokin' hot! 
The little twist in the story line really drew me in and I loved it! I think that Lou Harper has definitely hit on something that is unique, at least in my experience and I can not wait to read more of the series.

This is the first book I have read from Chris Cox and I will be returning for more. I loved Rusty and Sean! The writing just flowed and I couldn't have asked for a better story. I adore a good friends to lovers story and while Sean and Rusty are already in a relationship they started as friends first in the back story.

Sean has a lot of issues that continue to plague him through out this book, Rusty is there for him every step of the way and their relationship just grows stronger because of it. Despite Sean holding back, Rusty's family is a strong part of his healing. I don't want to spoil any part of this book, it just needs to be read and enjoyed by the masses. I for one could not put it down, I read it from cover to cover in one sitting!

This started out as a really slow burn for Lake and Forrest, which was a nice change of pace.  I really enjoyed the longing they both dealt with. Lake is a naiad and Forrest is a Dryad so they are basically opposites and well, we all know that opposites attract. Both of the men have some previous issues that they have to deal with and once they got started it was smooth sailing. 

The secondary characters were hit or miss for me. On one hand I knew something was up with them and I really wanted to know more about them. On the other hand some of them were really frustrating. Over all I really enjoyed this story and I loved the word play when it came to the names of the characters.

Holy smokes, more please! I just couldn't get enough of Kane and Shawn. Once I started reading I couldn't put my kindle down. I figured with this being a shifter story that there would be the instant attraction with the whole mates thing, but I loved the way Lisa Oliver went about it in this story.

Shawn is on the run because of who and what he is. Kane left home because of his packs inability to accept him. While Kane started a new pack Shawn has always been running. When the two of them meet the sparks fly and an excellent story starts to unfold. 

I loved Kane and Shawn. I was sucked into their story from the beginning and just couldn't walk away. There was a ton of passion and the two were so compatible it was amazing. Even though my kindle was on fire from the lust between Kane and Shawn I was also on the edge of my seat waiting for the action, which by the way was around every corner.  This was a fresh new shifter story with a bit of magic interwoven to make it excellent.

I very highly recommend this book and am eager to read the rest in the series!

I was super psyched to read this book just based on the blurb alone. There was only one on page sex scene which was good, but I thought that there would be more based on the blurb/warning. I really enjoyed the premise and the two sexy men. 

Jack is damaged when he returns home. He hasn't been honest with hardly anyone in his life and he is hurting now way more than he lets on and it isn't just physical pain. Dillon hid his feelings for his best friend and even disguised the reason for the fight they had before Jack left. 

This could've been so much more than what it was. While it was still a pretty good friends to lovers story, I feel like I was let down a little. I will read more books by this author in the future and I am really hoping that this book is just the first featuring these characters.

I jumped on the chance to review this one as soon as I saw it offered. I am a huge fan of all the John Hughes movies and Sixteen Candles is a classic in my opinion! Even though normally I do not go for YA books I just had to give this one a shot and I am really glad that I did.

Sam is a naive 16 year old boy, he knows he is gay but has not yet taken a step out of the closet. Sam has a huge crush on Jake, but really doesn't think Jake is gay. Then Sam becomes friends with Mitch, but Sam thinks Mitch has a thing for his best friend. Boy is it a shock to Sam when he finds out differently.

I really do not want to give any plot points away in this book, it would spoil it for other readers. There are a lot of errors with in the book and I think it need to be edited again. However I did enjoy the story and thought the little balloons that were all through the book were a different added touch.

I am looking forward to reading book 2 as I really want to see what happens next to Sam and his boyfriend!

My Thoughts:

Let me start with what drew me to this book, the cover. I am not one for messy faces *chuckles* yes I know that is honey on the cover and not another sticky fluid, but it made me cringe. Despite that I love the cover. It is so original and yet other than the bees and honey I wasn't sure what to expect, it doesn't give too much away, which is fantastic. I definitely have to give a shout out to the cover artist, Excellent work my friend!

The story premise sounded different and I couldn't wait to get started, I mean it combines two of my favorite things, M/M romance and Zombies! While I am not a huge fan of historical books they have been growing on my lately and this one was wonderful.

The setting is twenty years past the start of the zombie plague and we don't get much information on the how or why of it, still that didn't take anything away from the story for me. Victor angered someone pretty high up and as a result he was sent to Honeyhill. Honeyhill is work camp where prisoners are forced to serve time. Crunch is a guard and he takes a liking to Victor right away.

While the sex between the men is hot you can definitely tell there is chemistry between them. I was really hoping for a happy ending for these two, while it was not what I was expecting it was still fantastic. I think it was a great combination of romance in difficult circumstances and fear with the zombies. The zombie scenes were awesome, not completely disgusting but just cringe worthy enough to cause a shudder.

I was sucked into the book from the very beginning and couldn't put it down. I read it in practically one sitting, yes it was that good. I have got to recommend this book to the masses, you seriously don't want to miss out on this one!

I am going to start with the cover because that was what really drew me to this book. I love the way the colors just blend into one another, yet it doesn't take away from the images. It has just the right amount of sexy on it too. Once I opened it up I was completely enthralled.
I could not believe that it took Alex and Chance over nine years to finally make contact again, but seeing how they were separated it isn't that much of a shock. Once they met again the sparks sure did fly. I thought Chance made a few dickhead moves, but that is to be expected from a character that is so deeply closeted. I loved both of these guys. Alex is forgiving and yet stubborn, Chance is remorseful and determined. Both men are sexy as hell and their story is one that just must be read.
I read this book in one sitting and just could not get enough. I wanted to read their happy ending so bad I had to finish once I started. The passion and love between Alex and Chance is one that never faded, it is a true tale of high school sweethearts finally seeing a future together and taking the right steps toward it after a failed attempt at separation.
I very highly recommend this story and if this is what we can expect from Kimber Vale then I will definitely be on the lookout for more of her work.

This was my first book by Kerry Adrienne and I am really impressed! Artist's Touch was a creative and fresh story that kept my attention from the very beginning. I thought the setting was splendid and added to the uniqueness of the book. Definitely a book that more people need to get their hands on!

Wally is a bartender, but more than that he is a writer fresh out of college. Wally has been unable to put pen to paper (so to speak) yet, but the need is there, he just needs to find his muse. Wally is working a job for an upper class client. He has no idea that his muse is about to walk through the door and it smacks him like a ton of bricks.
Kenon is a master painter that is used to getting what he wants, everything he wants. When he sees Wally he decides he wants him and will have him. Fortunately Wally gives him the slip which forces Kenon to chase him down.

I thought the slow burn that started between Wally and Kenon was so fitting. Kenon seemed almost cold at times and if it weren't for his inner dialogue we wouldn't have been able to tell what he wanted. It had to have been frustrating for Wally too. Wally on the other hand almost wears his heart on his sleeve. We get to see so much of Wally and how he feels in his writing it is very similar to Kenon's inner dialogue. I also loved the idea of G3 otherwise known as the Guild. I think that it was fantastic and has so much potential I really want to know more about the other characters within.

Overall this was a wonderful story and I am really looking forward to reading more of Kerry Adrienne's work, hopefully in the very near future. I would very highly recommend this book, especially for someone looking for likable characters and just a little something different.

This is the first M/M romance that I have read involving a merman. I was super excited because of not only that but that it is written by Piper Vaughn. Piper has yet to disappoint me with a story! The same can be said of this one. Yes, it is a short one, but everything that needed to be said was. Francis longs for Wick in a way that seems impossible. They meet under the cover of darkness and begin a love affair despite the difference in species and a language barrier. This book truely needs to be read by the masses. I really don't want to chance giving away too many plot points. If you are interested in reading about mermen and interspecies romance then you have got to start here. I really don't think you will be disappointed, I know I wasn't!

This is a first for me, meaning the first book I have read from Sara Winters. I was not disappointed though. Both of the MC's are on the swim team, Kurt is struggling a bit and James is the team captain.  Kurt has only been with a couple other guys and is shy and awkward. James is the go after what I want type of guy.  I loved both of these guys the care that James shows Kurt is amazing. He is able to help Kurt with his swimming technique so he can stay on the team and at the same time he is wooing him. They become fast friends and boyfriends but James is always there for Kurt. One thing I was a little leery of was Blake. He is James' friend but I didn't like the way James came off when he was around him. Yes James was sexually frustrated while being patient with Kurt, but he doesn't act that way around Kurt. I guess it just kinda threw me a bit. It distracted me from the image I had of James but I was able to get past it and really really enjoyed seeing these fellows get their happy ending.

Review: Bright City Lights (City of Lights #1) by Declan Sands

Let me start by saying that this story was a bit of a mystery to me when I started it. I didn't read any other reviews and just glanced over the blurb. I find that by doing this I don't get spoiled and I enjoy the book I am reading so much more. 

We have Rabb who is the Alpha Werewolf, he has just purchased property in Bright City despite the efforts set in place to keep the shifters out.  On the other hand we have Brant, he is the mayor of Bright City and he wants to keep the shifters far out of the city. Upon starting out we are given hints that Brant is something other than human but we are not told what. We are also dropped little tidbits that he and Rabb have some sort of history.  I was quickly drawn into this book as it has all my favorite in one tightly wrapped package! It has paranormal, mystery/who-dun-it, and a slow burn M/M romance I mean what's not to like?! I was fascinated by trying to unravel who the "big bad" was, waiting to see exactly what Brant is and waiting for them to "come together". I love, love, loved this book! On Goodreads this book is listed as #1 of the City of Lights series and I seriously hope that Declan Sands is planning on continuing it. I was thrilled with the writing and have already purchased Dusted (Blood-hound#1)!

Review: Double Hue by Briana Lawrence

Let me start off by saying that I jumped on the chance to review this book as soon as I saw it. The blurb just stood out as something that was totally different than everything else that I have been reading lately. Once I received my copy I started reading right away. The only reason that it took me several days to read was that I had to keep going back and re-reading parts of it. I kept feeling like I may have missed something important and sure enough I did. Once I figured out I had to pay more attention it was smooth sailing.

I fell for Gable and Avery from the get go. They just have an amazing connection and it is one that has the potential to stand the test of time. I really don't want to go into the plot too much just because it is one that I think needs to be experienced. I will touch on a couple thoughts I had while reading...

*Within the first few pages I found myself unconsciously humming the theme song from "Rent". You know the one... "five hundred, twenty five thousand, six hundred..." yep that's it! And it just kept repeating in my head over and over and over again.

*Is there Really fan fic featuring Sora & Riku (you know from Kingdom Hearts)?? Please someone tell me where I can find this!! I loved playing Kingdom Hearts and often wondered some of the same things Gable did while Avery was playing. Not to mention I agree that the boss at the end cheats :-)

*Oh no! Not the Butterfly Effect...Not the Butterfly Effect...Not the Butterfly Effect... If you have already read Double Hue you know exactly what I am talking about.

Those were just a few things that came to mind at different times during this story.

I mentioned earlier that I had to figure out to pay more attention. That is a must. I think if you don't have any distractions (like an 8 year old constantly calling mom) the story should be fairly easy to follow, just pay attention to detail and what Day it is in the book. That is where I made my errors, however just flipping back a few pages and I was spot on again. As the story flowed on I had to pick my jaw up off the floor when the plot twisted! (No, I am not including any spoilers you will just have to read the story.) Then it just kept getting better and better. I really loved this story, it was just different enough to keep me interested, but not too far out in left field that I couldn't wrap my mind around it. It was a great blend of mystery and romance that the pages just kept flipping.  I would very highly recommend this story to anyone looking for a book that is fresh and new.
